Good for children (good pavements); some parts steep if you are not a good walker.

Short route from the Laubegast ferry crossing (or take bus to Moosleitenweg stop), going along the road (with pavements) up close to the TV tower. Then take the path through the pastures, past a very strange old tower now used as a home. Stay on the path through the trees into the shady Wachwitzgrund, then go up a steep path with steps. If that route is too hard you can go straight down Wachwitzgrund at that point. If not go through a residential area (highest point of walk) then join a concealed path at the end of Am Wachwitzer Höhenpark, again through shady trees - all downhill from then on. Come out in an attractive, luxurious residential spot; go down to the Elbe (large, attractive restaurant there) and along the towpath back to the ferry.

startend in DD-Laubegast beim Lidl, Querfahrt mit der Fähre (0,9€) , kurze Kaffeerast im "Erbgericht", gestärkt die "Moosleite" hoch nach Pappritz. Links haltend zum Busendpunkt der BL61. Abstecher zum Telespargel. und dann den "Oberwachwitzerweg" wieder herunder... zu Fuss zurück zur Fähre (Winter 18:30 letzte Fahrt) oder mit BL63 und SL6 zurück nach Laubegast
